The name
What does ‘Recounta’ mean?
In Singapore, when the numbers don't add up, everyone says the same thing: "Recount ah?" Accountants say it. Clients say it.
We named ourselves after that moment, because we're the ones who look at, think of and catch what's off before it becomes a problem.
What we want to change
Fast filing never made anyone feel looked after.
Filings get done while the founder gets lost.
Penalties that someone should have spotted.
Questions answered with a ticket number.
And very little empathy for the person running the business.
Even when platforms made filing faster, they didn't make anyone feel looked after.
Recounta aims to deliver the speed of good software together with a real person who knows your business and notices when something is off.

Reyes started Recounta to support student founders and early-stage startups, helping them understand their numbers, avoid costly mistakes, and build with confidence from the ground up.
